Pillaging is worth only with the forgotten, its pretty op when in war or when you are clearly stronger than the other faction. Very much a Do Loop without any breakout conditions--so to speak. Game file password is ofg. . Weathered fortresses, certainly creations of another age, still house a secretive people called the Fomorians who serve some ancient purpose.
I have the exact same problem. These two will be the blood of any forgotten empire worth its mettle. They are -- or is? But while the nations of Auriga learn to meet, trade, and war on the seas, another force rises from beneath them. Cripple the strongest enemy by either reducing his industry or killing his population, while stealing the hell outta the other one. If it is a stalemate then I can take a city by my self.
Honestly, it's pretty busted playing customs this way. I have issue with the art book and Forgotten Love as well. I'm not sure but now to think maybe a single hero could do all the pillaging. It just launches the game without downloading anything. They are — or is? The content manager redirects to the store page and the cycle continues. Edit: I just tried verifying the game files as well--no changes.
As a result, they cannot see, gather or use Science whatsoever. Honestly, I was running armies with 8 assassins, and a few others with 4 mysts scouts. Strong and nimble, their troops can appear fragile, but you shouldn't let appearances deceive you. Or, equally likely, succumb to their strength. They have no research and do not gain Science from trade routes. The other way, is to rely even more on spying and looting, but the base Forgotten are good at that already.

Think 3 regions total by 21~24 turns on normal speed.
Dust for buying units and buildings, and influence for the spies and the different empire plans given only to the Forgotten. You can react to threats, get a good city up and running in one turn, or buy lvl 6 techs in a couple turns. They are — or is? It's a great way to get some extra gold, and resources. Get a hero with the pillage trinket, plus Mysts and improved pillaging trait and go town! I remembered already downloading this during the event. The download links simply launch the game and the game simply jumps in the case of the forgotten love add-on back to Steam.
