There's a lot of discussion on the 02M swap out there. The conversion process eliminates the cooler so you need to bypass it with a nipple. This is the easiest and will allow you to limit down time. If you fix your shifting issues with fresh oil you can skip a full rebuild and just do the 5th gear and seals. Time will tell if this will hold up. Essential elements like axle flange cups, gear shifter weights, gear shafts, and other components for your project are available in addition to entire transmissions. Plus, I wanted a beefier trans that had oem parts availability.

Mount looks solid and up to task. With an o2m and haldex I am guessing the 02m drivshaft would work and the syncro one would not? I haven't personally looked at it yet but it is on my to do list.
